1. Overview

We, DroneCorps GmbH, process personal data in accordance with the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR), the Austrian Data Protection Act (DSG) and the Austrian Telecommunications Act 2021 (TKG 2021). This website does not use any analytics, tracking or advertising services, social media plugins or third-party embeds. Fonts are served from our own server. We only process personal data to the extent necessary to provide this website and to answer your enquiries.

2. Controller

DroneCorps GmbH

Dorotheergasse 7, 1010 Vienna, Austria

FN 665706 f, Commercial Court of Vienna

Email: office@drone-corps.at

We have not appointed a data protection officer, as the requirements of Art. 37 GDPR are not met.

3. Hosting and server logs

This website is provided by Lovable Labs Incorporated, 1 Lincoln St, Boston, MA 02111, USA ("Lovable"), acting as our processor. When you access the website, the data your browser transmits for technical reasons is processed: IP address, date and time of access, page or file requested, referring page, browser type and version, and operating system.

Purpose: delivering the website and ensuring its stability and security, e.g. defending against attacks.

Legal basis: Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR – our legitimate interest in secure and reliable operation.

Retention: log data is deleted as soon as it is no longer needed for these purposes, unless it is required for longer to investigate a specific security incident.

Lovable also processes certain technical usage and log data under its own responsibility, in particular for security purposes and to improve its services. See Lovable's privacy policy: lovable.dev/privacy.

4. Cookies and browser storage

We do not use cookies or similar technologies for audience measurement, tracking or advertising.

We only use storage that is strictly necessary to operate the website you have requested (§ 165(3) TKG 2021); no consent is required for this:

  • Cookie "__dpl" (set by our hosting provider, 24 hours): ensures that your browser receives a consistent version of the website during your visit.
  • Session storage entry for the scroll position ("tsr-scroll-restoration"): makes sure you return to the same place when navigating back; it is deleted when you close the tab.

5. Contact form and email

When you contact us via the contact form or by email, we process the data you provide (name, email address, subject and message, and optionally your organisation) in order to handle and answer your enquiry.

Legal basis: Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR where your enquiry relates to entering into or performing a contract; otherwise our legitimate interest in answering enquiries (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR).

We need your name, email address, subject and message in order to reply. There is no statutory or contractual obligation to provide them.

Recipients: submitting the contact form opens your email application with a prepared message to office@drone-corps.at. The website itself does not transmit or store the form data. The email arrives directly at our appointed email provider.

Retention: we delete enquiries once they have been fully handled, at the latest after three years (general limitation period under § 1489 of the Austrian Civil Code, ABGB). If a business relationship results from your enquiry, statutory retention periods apply, in particular seven years under § 132 BAO and § 212 UGB.

Spam protection: the form contains a field that is invisible to humans. Its content is not stored.

6. No web analytics, no profiling

We do not use web analytics services or tracking pixels, and we do not create user profiles. No automated decision-making within the meaning of Art. 22 GDPR takes place.

7. Transfers to third countries

Some of the service providers named above, in particular Lovable, are based in the USA or use infrastructure there. Transfers to the USA are based on the European Commission's adequacy decision for the EU-US Data Privacy Framework (Art. 45 GDPR) where the recipient is certified under it, and otherwise on the European Commission's standard contractual clauses (Art. 46(2)(c) GDPR). You can request a copy of these safeguards at office@drone-corps.at.

8. External links

Links to lagebild.one, joanneum.at and press coverage lead to third-party websites. Only when you click a link does the respective operator receive data such as your IP address. These operators are solely responsible for their websites; their privacy policies apply.

9. Your rights

You have the right of access (Art. 15 GDPR), rectification (Art. 16 GDPR), erasure (Art. 17 GDPR), restriction of processing (Art. 18 GDPR) and data portability (Art. 20 GDPR). Where we process data on the basis of our legitimate interests (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR), you may object at any time on grounds relating to your particular situation (Art. 21 GDPR). Please contact office@drone-corps.at.

10. Right to lodge a complaint

If you believe that the processing of your data infringes data protection law, you may lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority. In Austria, this is the Austrian Data Protection Authority (Datenschutzbehörde), Barichgasse 40–42, 1030 Vienna, email: dsb@dsb.gv.at, web: www.dsb.gv.at.

11. Changes

We update this privacy policy when our website, our data processing or the legal situation changes. The version published here applies. This English version is provided for convenience; in the event of discrepancies, the German version prevails.
